I just want to share some of the scenery of Cumbria with anyone who wishes to view them. I lived there for over ten years,and used to enjoy ""fell walking"",a way of reaching the summits of the high fells,without actually having to go rock climbing! mind, some of the routes involved quite a lot of strenuous scrambling, over very rough terrain,and extremely steep slopes,that sometimes brought me to my hands and knees to surmount them, espacially the arrette on striding edge, and the last ascent up Blencathra from sharp edge. i hope anyone viewing these photos, gets a feel for the Lake District, and some enjoyment from seeing them.
