"The Garden Of Truth"
trust, love, hate, a world of confusion for mankind,
to love someone, one must have trust,
for without either it is a world of hate.
~~~~~~
deny, doubt, anger, a lonely place indeed,
yet each is a seed mankind tends to plant,
for the harvest is far greater the reward.
~~~~~~~
pity, forsaken, lust, within a heart breeds contempt,
barren hearts, tears cried in silence of vanity,
for fairy tales long ago replaced God's vision.
~~~~~~~
quiet, deserted, peaceful, where one's thoughts roam,
visions clarity of loves desire lie in dreams realm,
yet the tools to reap the harvest long ago lost.
~~~~~~~
cascading waterfall, scented flower petals, butterflies,
harmony replenishing the thirst of a soul drinking deeply,
from the well of knowledge that opens ones eyes to see.
~~~~~~~
religion, politics, mankind at war, in heaven God's tears fall,
for wisdom he gave each and everyone, yet the fields decay,
for greed, lust, wantonness, fills our cups with such disgust.
~~~~~~~
hypocrites, false idols, ten commandments lie in ruins,
sexual gratification, chaos, disease, famine, so hungry,
well of knowledge lost forever within mankind's battlefields.
~~~~~~~
glimmer, small, fleeting light of hope could be seen,
seeds, soil, God's tears, trust, innocence of children,
love, paradise, my thirst quenched in the garden of truth.
