FALLEN ANGEL
Ambition was his creed,
betrayed God by his evil deeds.
Once was he, a heavenly being,
driven to suffer in the world of the living.
Dark path, though, he chose.
His fate came to a final close.
Heaven’s wrath was bestowed,
on this angel, stripped of power and gold.
Doomed to hell, then he cried,
to angels and mankind must take his side.
His heart was filled with hate,
as arrogance sealed his fate.
Condemnation was the price,
for his heart full of hurt and lies.
Lust for power was the goal,
so to the devil he cast his soul.
So great was the impact from the fall.
He tried, but could not break the wall.
Driven to the limbo of the unwanted,
this fallen angel now hides in the world of the dead.
