Go Chat! If you have questions about chat, please email us F.A.Q. How do I login? Type in your 8hop username and password. If you don't have one, register now! How do I create a new chatroom? After you join the default chat room, which is called The Lounge, you will find a Room list on the top of the chat window. Click Add, a new window will pop up and ask if you want a public or private chat room. Follow the steps. How to invite people in the chatroom to join my new created chatroom? On the right hand side of the chat window, you will see a list of public chatrooms and 8hoppers currently in these rooms. Left click their name, a menu will pop up and choose invite. How to private message an 8hopper? On the right hand side of the chat window, you will see a list of public chatrooms and 8hoppers currently in these rooms. Left click their name, a menu will pop up and choose private message. How to change the look of the window? Click on Options near the button of chat window and you will find some interesting settings there. Upload a picture is currently not working yet. How to set my status to busy or away?
